Some of us enjoy walking while others avoid it at all costs.  Some walks are necessary to get us where we need to be and some people walk for pleasure.  The Bible tells us that life is like a walk or a journey that gets us where we need to be, the Kingdom of God, but that it can also be enjoyable because Jesus said that He came to give us life in all its fullness.  Also, it’s not how we start out but how we finish that’s important.  If we are out for a walk and walking a long way, or the path sometimes takes us uphill, we may start out full of good intentions but end up dragging our feet.  Jesus told  His disciples, ” he who endures to the end shall be saved” and sometimes, just like when we are taking a walk, life can seem a struggle, something that has to be endured rather than enjoyed.  Sometimes when things are going wrong and there seems no end to our problems, it is just like when we are on a long uphill walk and we think we will never reach the top, but if we put our trust in Jesus, He will help us.  He walks with us every step of the way and He also says if we are weary and tired come to Him. and He will give us rest.
