Children & Young People
All our children and young people’s workers are DBS checked and have undergone BMBC child safeguarding training.
Our Children’s Church is for 3 – 10 year olds and takes place every Sunday morning during part of the morning service, with bible stories and craft activities.
Toddler Club is held every Tuesday during term time, between 9.30 am and 11.15 am, timed to fit in with nursery and school drop off and pick up. Parents, grandparents and carers are all welcome to bring their toddlers along. A great time with quality toys!! Only £1.50 per family which includes biscuits and juice for toddlers or a hot drink for adults. There is a small charge of 50p for each additional child who attends with your family.
We hold Children’s Holiday Clubs during the February, Easter and October half terms and the first week of the Summer holidays. Children aged 4-11 are all welcome to take part in singing, stories, games, craft activities and a painting competition. We regret that we cannot accommodate children under the age of 4. Admission is free although there is a tuckshop for which money will be needed if your child wishes to visit it.
Pastor Joy regularly attends assemblies at all the primary schools in the area including Brierley Church of England Primary School, Shafton Primary Academy, Milefield Primary School and Ladywood Primary School, where she meets children from Kids’ Club, along with other children who attend the schools.
