This month brings the induction of Pastor Roy and a season of change for the church. In the Bible, we read that “there is a time for everything and a season for every activity under the heavens.”

Change is an inevitable part of life. Sometimes we need to make lifestyle changes so that our bodies can function to the best of their ability, and allow us to get the best out of life. We may have to make changes such as moving house to fit in with employment or a family situation. Sometimes we need to make a change and do not know it. We can be caught up with all the good things going on around us and think that things should stay the same forever.

Often we like to feel at ease and comfortable in our lives and are wary of change, whereas in reality the world around us is changing, often at a great pace, we ourselves are changing, and the church here is changing from what it was even a few years ago.

God wants us to make a difference in the lives of others, and give Him our best, so let’s embrace this season of change and move forward into all that God has in store for us.
