Grimethorpe Pentecostal Church has a great team, leading the church into the future. We are part of the Assemblies of God GB, a growing network of over 600 churches in Great Britain.
Pastor Joy Gascoigne, and Pastor Roy Koroibanuve are working together, along with the Core Team, and the Church Trustees
We have a Worship Team and International Band, with live worship most Sundays. Various teams lead Picnic Club in school holidays, regular Engine Room Prayer Groups and Senior's Tea events. All of these engage with the wider community, and connect with local schools and other organisations.
Pastor Roy and his wife Elenoa are from Fiji, and now live in the village, along with their children. Elenoa leads the church worship team, and their children are also involved in ministry
David and Nancy Kimani are members of the core team. They live in Barnsley but are originally from Kenya.
David and Anne Hirst are also part of the core team, and live in the nearby village of Royston.
Anne is also part of the Children's Church team
Andy and Alex Obarisiagbon play key roles in the Church. Andy is a trustee, and Alex helps with AV and hospitality. They live locally and have two young sons
